ROB RUN Game Walkthrough: From Prison to First Payout
Follow a ROB RUN game walkthrough through city scouting, preparation, a small in-game heist, escape, selling, and securing your first payout.
Before You Start
ROB RUN game does not use a linear campaign walkthrough. Its world is a multiplayer sandbox where other players control police and criminals, so no route can guarantee an empty street or a successful escape. This walkthrough instead covers a repeatable first-payout sequence assembled from Kefir’s gameplay overview and labeled community reports.
Read the beginner guide if you want the mechanics explained individually. Use the sequence below when you want to know what to do next.
Step 1: Get Oriented
Servers are called states in community footage. If you intend to play with friends, confirm that everyone joins the same state before investing in a run. One reported cross-server route uses the Prison on the global map, surrender, a server switch inside, and a new party invite. Exact transfer losses are Unconfirmed, so do not carry valuables you cannot afford to lose.
Enter Looty Bay without a mask and make a reconnaissance pass. Locate:
- Looty Bay Bank for civilian banking tasks.
- At least one fence van or other sale point.
- Parking or rental access for basic transportation.
- Two routes away from your intended target.
The official gameplay overview confirms that an unmasked player can explore and assess targets before becoming a Criminal. Community reports say civilian death protection differs between the city and the desert; do not assume that leaving the city makes carried equipment safe.
Step 2: Handle Civilian Tasks First
Open the bank account and inspect tool-trade requirements before changing status. Community testing says some civilian services are no longer available merely by removing the mask; leaving and returning to Looty Bay is the reported reset route.
Choose a first tool based on the target, not on rarity. Lockpicks are shown in multiple community videos as an entry option for some doors. Tool recipes and specific item requirements seen in videos remain Unconfirmed until verified in your build.
If you plan to play as police instead, Kefir says the state provides standard-issue gear and a basic vehicle. Officers earn through confiscated goods, arrests, and potentially bribes. That is a different progression route from the criminal sequence below.
Step 3: Set the Run Rules
Before masking up, write down three decisions:
- Exit trigger: full bag, alarm response, police contact, or a teammate going down.
- Sale destination: the reachable buyer you selected during reconnaissance.
- Regroup point: where a crew meets after a death or separation.
For a three-player crew, one community guide recommends a breacher, hauler, and cover split. That role arrangement is advice, not a game requirement. Two players can combine entry and carrying while keeping the second player on lookout.
Step 4: Complete a Small In-Game Heist
Select a small target rather than a bank vault or another high-value location for the first attempt. Kefir confirms that gear, keys, and preparation influence what a location yields.
Approach using the route you already scouted. Community footage favors rear or service entrances where available and warns that broken alarms and damaged vehicles can advertise activity. Avoid treating stealth as immunity: official material notes that rival criminals or a passing patrol can still disrupt a clean run.
Fill only the inventory you can carry and leave when your exit trigger occurs. Do not add another target just because the first one went smoothly.
Step 5: Escape and Sell
Driving and route choice matter. Kefir explicitly says clever tactics and solid driving can overcome an equipment disadvantage. Community videos demonstrate turns, shortcuts, ramps, and concealment, but vehicle class advice and individual escape spots are Unconfirmed and build-dependent.
At the buyer, transfer the loot, finish the sale interaction, and collect the payment. Community videos show money appearing on the counter rather than becoming permanently secured at the instant of sale. If you are selling a large amount, player advice is to avoid a long unattended payout sequence.
Compare the result with the risk before starting another run. The tips page explains why surrender can sometimes preserve more value than a fight, and why a higher Notoriety bonus may not justify keeping a valuable bag in circulation.
Step 6: Protect and Reinvest
Bank or otherwise secure funds using the currently available in-game method. Do not assume a vehicle trunk is safe storage; community reports say lockpicks can open other players’ trunks.
Only after a complete sale should you put money into better tools, transportation, or a hideout. The official store confirms hideout building, upgrades, loot and vehicle storage, workbenches, and safes. It also warns that a more lavish refuge attracts more intruders.
The store describes a weekly rise-and-reset cycle, and community reference pages call it a seven-day wipe. Exact reset rules should be checked against current official announcements before each cycle. Your next route can then expand into clan play, territory, or larger targets.
